Rella Holding A/SRella Holding A/S is a holding company for B-shares in Carl Allers Etablissement A/S (CAE), the leading publisher of weeklies in Scandinavia with a weekly circulation of approximately 2.9m copies.
The Aller Foundation, which owns appr. 16% of CAE’s outstanding shares, controls CAE through its ownerhip of A-shares with full voting rights. Rella Holding A/S owns 57.3% of CAE’s outstanding share capital. Rella Holding A/S’ interest consists of non-voting B-shares. The CAE Group has subsidiaries in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland with close to 2,300 employees. For the accounting year 1.10.2008 – 30.9.2009, the Group’s net turnover was DKK 3,865m and the result of primary activities (EBIT) amounted to DKK -111 (2007/08: DKK 101m). The Group’s net result after tax was DKK 5m (2007/08: DKK -20m).
As at 30.9.2009, the CAE Group’s total assets stood at DKK 5,161m, out of which cash and marketable securities amounted to DKK 2,308m. Share-holders’ equity was DKK 3,702m corresponding to a solvency ratio of 71.7%.
